Tractor-slasher needed soon , to open up roads / clear around container site & cut new trails around the paddocks at back of JCU. If any one has a machine we can borrow this would be ideal. Otherwise, anyone with contacts so we can hire one cheap somehow. Probably need it for a week.

Tomorrow we are starting our own work on the DH access road. Lee will be working continuously for 9 or 10 days with an excavator , and we will try to get started on some the DH track improvements. So if you have any spare time to help or would just like to come & see what we are up to, feel free to come by. UPDATE SUNDAY 7TH Well we are going great and managing to get some trail features in as we go. We know a buncha people have been down the Ville', time to get out & get stuck in now. Next weekend we will have another distinct work B & pick on a couple of the most annoying bits. So have a think what needs the most work. We were thinking of the last corner in the rock garden to start. We also have a load of 'grid pavers' turning up this week for armouring. We are going to have the hottest club track in the country ! UPDATE TUESDAY 9TH Road going well - should get it all done by weekend. Heaps better erosion control. Gone through the rock garden & reshaped that rotten last corner. Need to stabilise some more. New jump/table on cockatoo flat - needs some riding & final shaping. Measured up a few corners [ after 'old stairs'] for big 'Whistler style' wooden berms. Walked through World's - needs clearing & grass very overgrown & big logs down on Vines. UPDATE THURSDAY 11TH Rain slowed things a little but still progressing. Last corner of rock garden finished. Pavers turned up so we can start laying these into a few areas on weekend. Final shaping of drains on road & silt barriers.
