Thanks Johno, unfortunately we will be running DH3 next weekend so if you are still free we could use your help running the race.
Give one of us a call if you can help, we would appreciate it.

XC trail work about to kick off over coming weeks. We have Glen J for a couple of days hopefully. Planned work includes;
- overhauling Black Snake descent
- finishing 'flow run' back through pines
- new XC loops through JCU paddocks
- hopefully a week with mini excavator to fix some of the worst eroded bits

Hopefully start next week [week of  july 20 ] so keep an eye on forum for final when/where.

Ok for those interested in helping next week we have a machine and glen jacobs and we are finishing off black snake to the pines and possibly the pines see how far we get. Days are Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 any help is welcome even if you can spare an hour or two. Meet at trail head and walk in to black snake descent bring water hat etc.. We will have tools but you can bring them too if you want. We will also be pushing new trail through grass over in the paddock for more gateway trails so we can use some help clearing that as well.  See you there.

So - new black snake & extra km or so of XC loop in the '2nd paddock' behind JCU to bypass the stinky mud hole with crap bridge bit.
Black snake final run back to carpark/through pines still need raking/finishing so we will leave a few rakes about & hopefully riders can help a bit here - stop & spend 10min raking/clearing sticks.

XC loop has only been roughed in & needs more slashing which hopefully will happen soon & will become the standard line. It goes off to the left above the boghole crossing. If anyone is looking for a project, then clearing this new section of sticks doesn't sound very exciting but it won't be heavy work.

I can spend some time this week and do some slashing and tidying
up of the paddock behind the Uni.
Can you show me on the map where you want cleared and cleaned up? ???

Johno,
If you have a slasher,
I will let sean do the map thing as that is his map.  If you remember the trail goes through a crossing that gets very muddy it has a broken bridge from some tool who drove through it with a 4WD, it also has a couple of cars dumped there.  We are about to divert that trail to the left just prior to there, you will see it, we pushed through the grass the other day and Freds Slashing went out and slashed it yesterday (saturday) our biggest priority is getting that section cleared so we can divert away from that crossing.  Sean may even be dragging the packing crate through it today to start clearing the grass.
Other than that any of the grass on the sides of the access road up to the club site and at the club site would be best.
